Review of Just for Fun

Title: Just for Fun
Author: Linus Torvalds
Date Completed: 07/28/2001

Rereadability Rating: 2
Lifechangeability Rating: 2
Entertainment Rating: 4

This is a great non-technical history of the development of Linux. It starts with Linus Torvalds talking about writing device drivers and walks the reader through the development of Linux. What I gleaned the most from was his discussion of the Open Source movement. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to know about Linux’s origins and has a while to read it.
