I was given this book by two different people for Christmas. Sarah was given “The Power of a Praying Wife”. I figured two copies from people who want the best for me was enough reason to give it a try. I really enjoyed this book. At first, I was critical of it. Stormie gives you prayers to pray for your wife, and I usually can’t get into prayers given to me to pray. But, as I read more of it, I really started to see a lot of truth into her insight as to how I should pray for my wife. This book was extremely helpful to me, as I often try to figure out how to pray for Sarah. I know that I will revisit this book many times. It is an excellent reference for being able to quickly turn to a section and get re-prompted as to how I can pray for Sarah and how she might handle stress and evil at work in different areas of her life. It’s a simple book, more of a guide actually, but one that really was great to me this week. The areas Stormie covers are her: Husband, Spirit, Emotions, Motherhood, Moods, Marriage, Submission, Relationships, Priorities, Beauty, Sexuality, Fears, Purpose, Trust, Protection, Desires, Work, Deliverance, Obedience and Future.
