    The security features make me feel a lot better than when I started the article. Still doesn’t seem like it saves any room though. Less cards, but you have to carry the thing around all of the time. It’s like a battery pack for your credit card.
    I wonder how long it would be before someone starts hacking these.

    From what I understand, it’s very easy for someone who wants to (a waiter for example) to make a copy of your card with a cheap reader.

    And, now that I think about it, you might not even have to hack it to steal a card number…just grab someone else’s card and say it’s yours…

    I think the finger print feature would curb that type of abuse.
    I have heard about those little card scanners waiters use though. That’s kind of crazy.

    Why would the fingerprint scanner keep me (the authorized user of this device) from stealing your card number?

    Wired this month had a cool little article about identity theft. Scary.
