Golden Corral

Golden Corral
Overall Rating: 4
Experience Date:Can’t remember

CRAZY amounts of food, most of which is decent
The feeling as you’re walking out, lower the price and take off the steak

Of the non-foreign buffets, Golden Corral is my favorite (the only one around here?). I start with a huge salad, move on to two more plates of miscellaneous foods (Bourbon Street Chicken, Broccoli Ranch Salad, Rotisserie Chicken) and then straight to the dessert area to split a big plate with Sarah. I’m always extremely stuffed when leaving. I do wish they would give me the lunch buffet price if I didn’t want ribs and steak (which are usually not that good). I do really enjoy a good trip to The Corral.

And probably an edible meal that is significantly less fattening than mine last night!

the percent of obese people inside a Golden Corral is significantly higher than the percent outside the Golden Corral.
    Coincidence? I think not.

I go there for lunch quite often, doing their Take-Out. Once you learn the tricks (avoid things with inedible bones, and avoid heavy potatoes), and you can walk out with a full meal for less than $3.50. 🙂
