This is one of the very few technology books I’ve ever read cover to cover and been enthralled with. As you may or may not know, I’m a recent Mac convert, and I’m loving OS X. This book was the absolute perfect match for what I needed to read. It covers fundamentals of the OS, a little history, networking, just a general “how all this stuff works” and helpful tips. This is the book that turned me on to Active Directory integration with OS X. If you’re just getting your fingers wet with OS X, this is the book for you. If you’ve been running it more than a few months, skip to a more advanced book.
Note: This book review has been included in my site for historical purposes. I might not hold the same views as I did when it was written. If I don’t, hopefully I’m more right now…
