Integration into Microsoft Server products, Plug and Play works like it should
Explorer crashes a little too often, still lots of security holes being found

I’ve been running XP Pro since about the time it came out. At first I was very happy with the stability, but with more than one machine I’ve worked on, after several months, explorer starts pausing for several seconds before doing what I want it to. That’s just plain annoying. I’ve tried switching shells to Aston, and that has helped. The good things about Windows XP Pro are it’s integration with the server suite (executing scripts from the server and remote management) and Plug and Play actually works like it should. This review would have been a lot better before I started using Mac OS X and realized how much nicer its interface is.
