Morton Hot Salt

Morton Hot Salt
Overall Rating: 4.5
Experience Date:Jul 23, 2004

Good:
Enough heat to be interesting, lots of pepper flavor, inexpensive
Bad:
None

Sarah and I decided to try Hot Salt after seeing it on Unwrapped on the Food Network. I was pleasantly surprised. There is just the right mix of saltiness and heat for me to put on most of my food. We’ve been putting it on our eggs in the morning recently and it works well as an extra eye opener. The best thing about it is that it isn’t just heat like red pepper. The combination of peppers that they use lends to a good, but not completely identifiable flavor.
