Moleskine Large Ruled Notebook (5.25 x 8.25)
Overall Rating: 4.5
Experience Date:Aug 14, 2004

Good:
Hard binding, pocket in the back for lose papers, elastic strap, leather
Bad:
No space to hold a pen

I needed a new journal (I think everyone should keep some type of personal writings, btw), so I went looking for the perfect one for my birthday present this year. I found this Molesine I had been eyeing for a while. They have quad ruled, ruled, heavier stock (for watercolor) and blank. I can’t write straight without lines, so I got the standard ruled one. I like everything about it except that it doesn’t have a good place for a pen. It has hard covers, so I don’t have to worry about writing any worse than I usually do, even when I can’t find a place to bear down other than my lap. The size is perfect for me, and the little bells and whistles (elastic strap, pocket in the back) are nice. It’s around $16 for the larger version (the one I got).

wow, my mothly catchup with commenting at mandatorycufew and the only thing that really peaks my attention is a month-old post about a notebook.

comon D, lets get something controversial going on.

anyway, i never leave home without my moleskin notebook. i buy the small, non-ruled, cream pages version. fits in my backpocket and wears a nice impression in my jeans. cheers to the moleskin company
