This was a fun read. I like Ben Ferguson. I wish I could listen to him somehow locally. This book is basically a compilation of his views on whatever he felt like writing about (one view per chapter). God, virginity, civil service, NASCAR, whatever. He’s 22 years old, and sets out his arguments for/against things pretty well. He’s very conservative, and writes the book like you would expect a talk show host to write…anyone who disagrees with him will probably end up yelling at the book. But, the bottom line (and best thing) of it all is that, more than anything, he wants his generation to get involved. He rightly points out that his generation is very minimally involved and doesn’t really care about politics. He wants to get them riled up and have them find out information to make their own decisions. I think he’s a great advocate for the conservatives right now.
Note: This book review has been included in my site for historical purposes. I might not hold the same views as I did when it was written. If I don’t, hopefully I’m more right now…
