    gone with the wind. 🙂

  2. Ben says:

Les MiserablesIts absolutely fantastic, but takes a bit more than a month to read.

  3. Josh says:

Not sure of the age…1984 and War of the Worlds were elementary school favorites.

  4. Jon says:

The Old Man and the Sea- HemingwayOf Mice and Men- Steinbeck

  5. Derek Lidbom says:

East of Eden is the first on my quest…working through it this month.

  6. Ben says:

Ah!! Right!!East of EdenGrapes of Wrath both by Steinbeck

  7. El Gray says:

I think you need to jump on the bandwagon and read the Chronicles of Narnia to prep for the movie, if you haven’t already.Of course, you will probably finish each of those books in much less than a month.

  8. Josh Creason says:

    I recommend books on tape.

  9. Derek Lidbom says:

I find with books on tape that it more fills the time than teaches me much. I can remember them for about a week and then I’ve forgotten most…stored with a different method or something I suppose…

  10. It’s different for all of us…the books on tape stick longer for me.Ben, where are you moving to?

  11. Ben says:

East of Eden is especially noteable since Amanda and I are moving to near where that takes book takes place…… 😉

  12. Ben says:

To near where East of Eden takes place.. :-PIn fact just about 30 miles north of there….

  13. Derek Lidbom says:

I think books on tape would stick longer for me if I could concentrate…I’m usually better off hearing things than seeing them. But, I’m most likely listening to a book on tape when I’m doing something else, and, since I’m highly distractable, well…Audiobooks are also almost always much more expensive than their paper counterparts.

  14. Josh Creason says:

Unless you get them from the library…

  15. Derek Lidbom says:

Definitely…and I have been meaning to get a library card and investigate that…

  16. sarah says:

even jake has a library card.

  17. Derek Lidbom says:

Wow!And I didn’t know they checked out Pokemon video games!

  18. Derek Lidbom says:
