It’s quiet today at the office

No less than 30% of our building is gone today (Habitat workday, new business pitch, vacation). It’s very serene here.

In other news, I just found out that we can only take Lucy to one of four beaches around us between May and September. And even that beach (Myrtle) only allows them before 9am and after 5pm. So, our weekend plans might be changing. 🙁

No dogs at the beach? What kind of public place is this? I’ve never heard of that. Dogs and beaches are like peanutbutter and mayonase…some people love it, others make a face of disgust…

Dogs are allowed at Fort Fisher all year long. Not as good as Wrightsville, but not bad either. For the most doggie-fun, you need to go out to the outer banks. Last time we were there, I dont think Mercy had the leash on her all week.

The Outer Banks is where I have spent the vast majority of the beach time in my life…maybe that’s why the idea of “No Dogs on the Beach” seems so foreign to me…
