Can they or can’t they? Well, the carriers aren’t jumping on the wagon yet, but we’ll see. Put yourself on the don’t call list by calling 888.382.1222 from the phone you want to add.

Thanks Dwight

i can promise that my phone etiquette may take a turn for the ugly if i get any telemarket calls on my cell.

I find creativity with telemarketing dialogue to be stimulating, but I’m with Sarah on the ugly turn.

Considering that these unsolicited calls would actually cost cell phone owners money, I think there are a few more hurdles to overcome before this could be OK’ed. Plus, there are some phone companies ie: Verizon who don’t want to release customer numbers for fear of backlash. So if Cingular got on board, Verizon’s next marketing blitz would lure cusomers to bring their number to a provider that won’t share their number with strangers.
