VERY quick deployment time, easy language
Harder to find support for tough problems, Macromedia is so innovative they are almost bleeding edge (without telling the developers) sometimes.
As anyone who has ever talked to me about web development knows, I am a HUGE ColdFusion fan. I do almost all my development in it, and, having had experience as an ASP developer too, I can definitely say that ColdFusion is much more suited to my development style. It was built for the web from the ground up. I can’t speak for how it compares to ASP.NET, but I know I’m consistently churning out code quickly with it. My only complaints are that it’s hard to get support for it sometimes and Macromedia tends to include features in final versions that don’t appear to be fully tested.
