Dad and I are turning some pens to sell to parents as fundraisers for Calvary student trips to Costa Rica. Here’s the first pen I just finished turning. Bad picture though.

woah neato. What kinds of woods and stains are you using? do you buy a kit that gives you the parts to put on the wood?

That’s flippin’ sweet. I need a mechanical pencil for all my math and stuff. :)I would like to place an order for one.

Using Cocobolo wood. Going to experiment with other woods soon. I’d really like Walnut and Mahogany….we’ll see how they turn out as pens.No stain, just a pre-finish paste and then the finishing wax by Shellawax. We bought the kits from Klingspor’s locally (like to support them), but here’s a link to some guys selling them online (don’t have ANY idea about this company other than it lists high in Google):http://www.woodwriteltd.com/continen.htm
