SANS is coming!

I’m getting excited. At the end of this month, I will be heading to my third week of SANS training. I have completed their “Securing Windows” training and their “Hacker Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling” training (along with another day course on Advanced Network Worm and Bot Analysis).

This year I’m taking their 6 day course on “Auditing Networks, Perimeters and Systems” and the 1 day workshop on “What’s new for Security in Windows Vista?” SANS is by far the best training I’ve ever been to, and I’m fortunate enough to have an employer that recognizes the need to keep me on top of training.

Maybe by a week after Easter I’ll be able to add some more letters after my name. Currently I have an antiquated MCSE, ACP (Allaire Certified Professional…from my ColdFusion days), GCIH and GCWN.
