From the Phone: The lathe has been busy the past few days.
Today I tried my first project bigger than a pen on this lathe. It resembles a Christmas tree anyway…made from a scrap 4×4 pressure treated board leftover from our fencemaking. Click here to see the full size picture.

Sarah’s new bookshelf
Sarah also needed a bookshelf to hold all of her math books. Falcon red with a gray background ended up looking pretty good. Chalk up another project made MUCH easier thanks to my new table saw.
Calculator Holder
Sarah needed a place to store all the calculators for her students. I got a new table saw and needed to test it out. Here’s the (unfinished) result.
